This month being one of my favorites in that I learned

So check it out!!! :)))

We've been adding some more fun to the gallery these last few days. If you would like to come see all the fabulous DT's LO's! Cathy has created a way for everyone to see and even leave some love where you are inspired! :) Some of the girls are out of town right now, but you can count on an opportunity to see ALL the creations up close every month here as well as on the main page of the website....isn't that so AWESOME?

I have been having so much fun with this kit...and still finding more things to create with it.

Here is a card I made last night. I love how the Prima branches were packaged on chipboard that was definitely able to be incoperated into our creations as well.

Our FABULOUS Guest designer Emily Falconbridge used it to frame her title and photograph..perfect! :)

And Anabelle's GORGEOUS example as a border

And this is Christina's AWESOME creation as a border as well.

And Danielle with her BEAUTIFUL example

And Leslie incorperated it with her FABULOUS mini album!

I am so excited to see what everyone else creates with this kit! The inspiration is endless...the color combo's and paper all work so perfectly together. :)

Have a wonderful and blessed week this week!

Loves,
Kimberly

The Tulip Girls Are *AMAZING*

Fantastic reveal today! I wanted to share my favorites from the gallery:

Leslie: What a beautiful mini album! I love how she distressed the envelopes on one side and decorated them on the other! So beautiful! And the colors are just stunning!

Kimberly: Um, those flowers are to die for! What an amazing page border! And the photo is pretty darn spectacular too!

Holly: The cover of this album is awesome! Holly always does an amazing job mixing patterned papers, but I cannot get over outlining the letters with glitter! Genius! That's a trick I'm going to steal!

Emily: I'm a big fan of Emily's quirky style and this page just made my jaw drop. It's fabulous! I love the masking tape, the stitching, the paint, the masking...perfection!!

Alexis: Gorgeous work as always! I chose this spread because it definitely demonstrates Alexis' masterful ability to mix embellishments and add so many beautiful finishing touches to her work. The pen work is fab!

And on a personal note, I want to wish Alexis all the best. If you're reading the Label Tulip message board or subscribe to the newsletter, you know that she's stepping down as a Tulip Girl to spend more time with her family and head back to teaching. Alexis has been with Label Tulip since the beginning. She is extraordinarily talented and will be missed.

Danielle: I love the "family tree" with the frames. It's just so genius! Love that the photos are b&w, so the colors on the layout really pop!

Christina: Shhhh...don't tell her, but I think I've got a scrappy crush going on. This page is unbelievable. I love how Christina is able to mix and match disparate elements and many photos and make them work together so well!

Charity: Is this not the most amazing tree/bush/flowering thing EVER?! There's so much life in the page. And every time I look at it, I notice a new awesome detail! Wow!

Anabelle: Wow, wow, wow! The design of this layout made me grin from ear to ear! So cool and so clever! I love the whole thing! (Plus the use of the turtle is brilliant!)

Let us know what your favorites are too!

Amazing Layouts from the Member's Gallery

Have you visited the Label Tulip Member's Gallery recently? There's some serious eye candy. Here are a few layouts that I loved:

This layout is from stephbaxteruk. It is simple and creative and beautifully done and just about as perfect as I can imagine a layout being. I love it!

This layout is from Feli. I love the little banner and the fact that there are no photos! Yes, it's still a layout. How fun!

Okay, this one is by Danielle, who is technically not a member, but a Tulip Girl. However I did find it in the member's gallery and it was too amazing not to point out! Um, I love everything about this layout! But especially the stars with the little photos on them. It's brilliant!

This layout is by AnnaMarie. I love all the color and attitude (not to mention the AMAZING photos) and general fun going on here!

This layout is by mariannehope. Fantastic layout! Love the stitching and the spray ink. And, I just checked out her blog (click on her name) and it's full of fabulous inspiration! Be sure to check it out!

This layout is by dorcasyhj. I love the photo grouping in the lower left corner. I'm a huge fan of multi-photo layouts and this one is well done!

This layout is by mia92578. I love the way she did the title, the inky coloring, the wonky stitching. It's just so cool!

Do we have super talented members or what?

Happy Mother's Day!

And, what better way to celebrate Mother's Day than with some pretty sneak peeks? This month's kit is right up my alley! All the bright colors, fun embellishments and plentiful alphas... creative perfection!

Since I've been preparing for my trip to Alaska for the last few days, I haven't had as much of a chance to play as I would have liked. But, now that I have reached my destination (kit in hand), I plan to play LOTS. So, stay tuned to my personal blog for more sneaks in the coming days!

Matchbox announcments...

When I saw these cute little baby announcements that were made from matchboxes, I had to give it a try! These are mini ones that you could easily slip into an envelope with a photo of the new baby. Aren't they so cute? These were in the B is for Baby book by Suzonne Stirling.

In honor of our very own Cathy getting married this weekend, I thought I'd try a wedding announcement match box instead. I searched around my home and found a larger matchbox. (We didn't have any small ones.) I covered it with paper, stickers, rub ons and resin pieces by Melissa Frances.

In the inside, I quickly painted the box with white paint letting some of the box show through for a worn, vintage sort of a look. Lastly I used a Melissa Frances sticker, attached it to my printer paper and ran it through the printer to add the wedding couple's information. Then it was attached inside the box. This would be a fun little gift for someone, or an announcement for a special someone coming to your wedding, or just a beautiful trinket box to hold memoirs from your wedding!

Congratulations to Cathy and we wish you all the best this weekend with your wedding!
